As young girls surf the web and play dress up games they exaggerate the way young girls dress. A lot of games will give you tank tops, mini-skirts and all, but that isn’t true for all of us! In fact a lot of girls like to just throw on jeans, sweat pants and a cute shirt.
Who said we always have to wear a skirt or shorts that stick to our bottom? I mean once in a while we’ll go all out but like seriously everyone has their own taste and it doesn’t have to be what the internet shows!
I interviewed a few girls at UAI and our Girl Gazette volunteer Ms. Ariane to see what they think. Take a look!
Sydney: I believe that every girl has their own style and it is not fair to judge girls for the way they dress.
Jade: I think that the internet teases us or makes us look like girly girls.
Ms. Ariane: I believe that even though clothes are advertised to make a girl feel prettier they actually make a lot of girls feel as though they don’t look as good as the models do. You’ll also find a lot of overdone pictures of girls in advertisements or commercials.
