Leslie Connor was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She moved to Schenectady, New York in the 4th grade. Her dad worked for a company selling the finest papers “in all the land.” She loved to turn the pages of the books he brought home and smell the ink and look at the pictures. After college she became interested in children’s books from an illustrators point of view, but she then realized she was destined to be a writer and now she writes for all ages!
