I choose this song because I think that Lady Gaga is strong, smart, and bold female artist. She is smart, strong, and bold because in the lyrics she says that she is beautiful and I think that is bold because if someone calls her ugly she says that she is not. If that was me and if someone told me that I was ugly I would say I am not because you shouldn’t listen to anybody else.

Lady Gaga is strong because in her song she says that she was born to be brave. What I think that that actually means is that she is not afraid of anything.  

In the lyrics of the song Lady Gaga says “My mama told me when I was young, we are all superstars.” The song also says, “I’m beautiful in my own way ‘cause God makes no mistakes. I’m on the right track baby, I was born this way.” She also says don’t hide yourself. Just love yourself and you are set.

Also in the song Lady Gaga says, “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life...No matter black, white, or beige, chola, or orient made. I’m on the right track baby I was born to be brave.”

A lot of people think Lady Gaga is a bad role model because she has tattoos and smokes, but I think this song tells you it’s ok to be you and that is really great advice!
