I think Ms. Menaka is the best 6th grade math teacher. She has prepared her students for the next grade by giving them some 7th grade math. She has been having some fun with her kids in 6th grade. If you don’t want to believe me, read it yourself in the interview below.
Question: What have you learned from your awesome and creative girls?
Answer: Patience.
Question: What college did you go to? Why?
Answer: I went toCornell University because it’s an excellent school that opened up many doors for me.
Question: Do you love your job and is it hard for you to do it?
Answer: I love my job, but it’s a stressful job because it makes a huge difference in someone’s life, hopefully for the better.
Question:If you and one of your students were in a math war who would win? Why?
Answer: The student because I would want them to win.

Answer: It depends on the day, the activity, the group, and the student, but yes I think my students are learning a lot this year.

Answer: I would tell them that no problem is too easy or too challenging. If you seek the help you need you can do anything! That’s what I’m here for!
