The Popularity Papers: Research for the Social Improvement and General Betterment of LydiaGoldblatt and Julie Graham-Chang is a good book for young girls still trying
to find out who they want to hang out with at school.

In the book, Julie Graham-Chang and Lydia Goldblatt, the dynamic duo, strive to become
“popular” just like the other so-called “popular” girls at their school. This book is filled with
humorous details as the girls try to climb the social ladder at school.

Lydia and Julie are both nice girls who learn from their mistakes. In the end, they learn that the
“popular” girls aren’t really that bad. They are actually nice, like how in the movies the popular
girls always end up really nice in the end.

Girls who read this book will learn that you should worry less about being popular and instead
be with people you enjoy being with. They will also learn that it’s important to get to know someone before you judge them.

This is also a great book for graphic novel lovers. Even though the book is not known as a grapic novel, it has great graphics.

Parents have no reason to worry about this book. I recommend this book for ages 9+.

About the Author:
Amy Ignatow is both a writer and an illustrator. She lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her
husband Mark and their cat Matilda. The Popularity Papers is her first book ever.
Isn’t it so cool that her first book is so popular?
