Can You Guess Who I Am?

I am black and white. 

I can climb trees 5,000 to 6,000 feet high.  

I have black fur on my ears, eyes, and shoulders.  

I can stand between two and three feet.  

I eat bamboo plants. 

Can you guess who I am? 

I hope you guessed right because I am a panda bear and a sweet one too

Here are some more facts about pandas:

• A panda has thick wool fur that keeps them warm in cool forests which are their natural habitat.
• Pandas live in the mountains of western China.
• A giant panda’s diet consists of eating leaves of bamboo. They eat 26 to 83 lbs of food every day.
• An adult panda is about 220 to 330lbs and can be a tall as an average person at about 60 inches.
• Pandas have large wrist bones to resemble opposable thumbs.   
• Pandas are on the endangered species list.

There are only approximately 1,600 left.Pandas are just sweet!
